Performance, Planning and Accountability

Our investment and planning philosophy is based on three guiding principles: Performance, Planning and Accountability.

Performance- our goal is to make money year after year for our clients regardless of the performance of the U.S. equity markets. In order to accomplish this goal, our investment strategies have a record of performing well in up as well as down markets. Mutual Funds and Money Markets are investments of choice.

Planning- An investment and financial plan is customized for each client depending on returns goals and risk tolerances. Plans are designed using historical returns and/or Monte Carlo simulations to better understand the risks that may stand in the way of your families or companies goals. The shortcomings and risks of traditional financial planning will be addressed as well. Traditional planning tools can leave investors with a false sense of security and do not reflect the real world investment returns.

Accountability- HCM fees are based on how well we perform for our clients. HCM’s compensation is tied to your portfolio’s performance. We receive fees from our clients only, so no conflicts of interest exist. We do not receive any compensation from any other source. Our only goal is to support our clients. Traditional asset based fees and commissions can reward behavior that is opposed to the investor's best interests.
